Turning your home into a fully decorated party space can be expensive. Consider doing some DIY elements along with store bought items to really bring your party theme to life. In this case, a rainbow set of mini paper decorative fans were transformed into the popular characters we know and love with the help of these free Sesame Street Party Printables.

Use double sided tape to adhere the printable pieces onto the decorative fans. Tip: Whenever I’ve used these fan types, I always remove the white string it comes with it and replace it with fishing line so help hide the hanging element of the decoration.

Hang these decorative fans behind your food table to light up the room with lovable Big Bird, smiley Elmo, crazy eyed Cookie Monster and the grumpy guy you can’t help but love, Oscar the Grouch.

Party hacks:
- Use parade wearables as the decor, like these festival hats hung on the window curtain rod for the backdrop
- Single serve cereal cups means no need to do dishes!
- Photo props make a great centerpiece! Stick those themed props in a glass vase and add a bow tie!
- A few drops of green food dye makes for magical green milk!
- Plan a fun activity! See yesterday's reel for a fun printable leprechaun scavenger hunt from my friend @indigoinkb
