Have you been down the chip aisle of the grocery store or looked at the chip selection at your local deli lately? There are SO MANY unique chip flavors out there!

So when a request was put in by my family to include another taste test for our holiday get together in December, I thought chips were the way to go!

Longtime followers will know that my family is a fan of the taste test game or at least they are willing participants to me testing out my new printable games! From candy canes to jelly beans to testing cookie flavors, you can see the assortment of other Printable Taste Test games I designed that we’ve played at family functions at the bottom of this post.

This time around, I grabbed 6 cans of Pringles chips (this is not a sponsored post) and put together The Great Chip Taste Test printable game as our part of yearly family Christmas games.

You can easily play this with individual players having their own game sheet or in teams, like we did. (Some of the younger kids have a hard time discerning flavors so having an adult in the mix helps). Each team was given a Chip Taste Test game sheet and I put 2 of each of the 6 chip flavors on each of the taste testing circles. I wrapped the chip containers up in brown paper with the number on it.

Each team then tasted the assigned chip and put their best guess on the flavor an rated that flavor. At the end of trying all 6 flavors they got to rank them from 1 to 6.

After the game was over, I unpackage each chip container to reveal the flavor to lots of excited or grossed out flavors. Cheddar was the favorite and Dill Pickle was low on everyone’s list. I gifted the favorites to the teams that enjoyed it the most on their sheet.

This printable Chip Taste Test game would be a great activity for teenagers, who are always up for new adventures in the world of foods, families who love to eat and laugh together, or friends who enjoy football or basketball games this winter looking to add a little spice to their normal Sunday routines.
