The new fall softball season is quickly approaching and now that teams are formed, you need some new gear! Those looking to add a little team spirit to their friendship circle, check out these personalized softball team gifts I’ve been involved in gifting for travel or all star teams over the last few years.

As the saying goes, giving is better than receiving and as a crafter, I love to handmake gifts that people actually use! Here’s the short list of things I’ve made using my Cricut or my printer that have been personalized for softball teammates.
Softball Bows

This past summer both my girls played on 10u and 12u all stars and as part of a team gift, we personalized these white bows with Siser glitter heat transfer vinyl to add the town logo and jersey number.

The 8″ tail length of the ones we chose allowed for enough room to easily add these components, which were worn on game day to add a little team spirit. These come in a pack of 16 so there’s plenty of gift to the kids or maybe even some softball siblings! While white matched our team’s color palette, know that they do offer lots of other colors, including two colors in one bow!
Chapstick Keychains

These simple keychains easily held a chap stick on their bag and had room to personalize with their jersey number. They come in a pack of 20 so there’s plenty to gift to teammates and coaches, alike!
Softball Hair Ribbons

All it takes to make these are ribbons and a hair tie! Choose the colors to match your team or for a special occasion (we’ve done them for the Pink breast cancer tournaments or ones to match our Halloween costume themed).

When it came to the moment about gifting them, use these printable “Softball Hair Don’t Care” tags with room on the back to personalize with the gifter’s name.
Personalized Visors

This pack of 12 solid visors comes in several colors, the navy blue matching our team’s color scheme. Depending on the age, some girls stop wearing their face masks in the outfield and instead opt for visors in this space.

Cricut actually now makes a hat press which we used to create these visor gifts for the team. Make sure you also stock up with this heat tape to hold down the shapes on these curved surfaces.
Softball Ornaments

Save this idea to create handmade initial ornaments using my free template during the holiday season. You could also use this as a team bonding crafting activity as my 10 and 12 year olds were able to make their own!
Acrylic Bag Tags

We made these for the team and many of the girls have clipped them to their bat bags. Find the full tutorial here but you’ll at least need the acrylic discs (comes in a 30 pack) and the lobster claw clips (also comes in a 30 pack)!
Neck Fan

For about a year and a half I gifted teammates these neck fans personalized with their name for their birthday.

They were a big hit come late spring and summer when we were playing in the heat!
