Sure when it comes to summer plenty of icons come to mine including pineapples, flamingos and sunshine but you can also choose a theme that’s inspirational all summer long and choose red, white, and blue with a Patriotic mantle design for your home!

First is KINGART a new, fast growing brand that’s known for their fine art paintbrushes and paints, of which I got to try on these fun patriotic mandala stars. I pulled an assortment of colors from their 48 piece acrylic paint set that stretched the limits of the typical patriotic palette. Light blues, dark blues, whites, red and even pink can be patriotic!
I started in the center with dots or brush marks and worked outward to create these firework style looks on each of these three wooden stars I got from the Dollar Tree.
Sure they are not all center and certainly not symmetrical but I love the painted look up on my patriotic mantle.

This patriotic mantle might be smaller and more condensed than previous ones I’ve shared, but it’s the perfect setup for our low key patriotic summer.
