Sure when it comes to summer plenty of icons come to mine including pineapples, flamingos and sunshine but you can also choose a theme that’s inspirational all summer long and choose red, white, and blue with a Patriotic mantle design for your home!
The past few years I’ve had the pleasure of working with some different companies creating content for social channels and company blogs. Two of those companies are featured in today’s post!

I pulled an assortment of colors from their 48 piece acrylic paint set that stretched the limits of the typical patriotic palette. Light blues, dark blues, whites, red and even pink can be patriotic!
I started in the center with dots or brush marks and worked outward to create these firework style looks on each of these three wooden stars I got from the Dollar Tree.
Sure they are not all center and certainly not symmetrical but I love the painted look up on my patriotic mantle.
Front and center of this setup is my Stars & Stripes Forever shadowbox I created for the Custom Picture Frames blog. This frame style (named Bruno) matches really well to the floors in our house so you might be seeing more of it in other areas! This”Stars & Stripes Forever” design looks great both on a t-shirt in two colors or as home decor! get the file here in my shop!
This patriotic mantle might be smaller and more condensed than previous ones I’ve shared, but it’s the perfect setup for our low key patriotic summer.
