The beautiful thing about SVG cut files are that they can be used to make all sorts of different things with different materials. The play on words of this “Let’s Get Lit” design featuring a launching firework is perfect for a July 4th or Labor Day patriotic celebration on an assortment of surfaces. use it to create a dessert topper to add to a strawberry and blueberry filled treat. Add it a neoprene can koozy and fill it with your favorite White Claw by the pool. Or add it to a t-shirt and rock it at the parade.
No matter was you design, first, you’ll need to download the “Let’s Get Lit” SVG cut file. The text of my design is made of just 2 colors and includes one background space.
This background space can be used as a surface to add the other components when creating a 4th of July cake topper, or if you want a distinct color behind your design for a t-shirt. It’s also easily removeable in Cricut Design Space, so you can just use the original two text components to create this punny design.
I was recently gifted a box of super soft sustainable blanks from Press Hall, an online store which offers wholesale pricing and bulk discounts on decoration ready blanks for even the smallest business. They’re eager to have creators like me test out of their blanks and see what decorating applications work best. I’m always happy to have more surfaces to add heat transfer vinyl designs on so I was a big fat YES on that request!
This light grey Hanes EcoSmart T-shirt is made of a soft blend of 50% cotton/50% polyester and was the perfect base to make my new “Let’s Get Lit” design to pop!
I used blue and red glitter heat transfer vinyl and was able to whip up a new patriotic t-shirt in no time flat! If I have time I’m also going to add it to a drink koozy!
