As a crafter, I know how long it takes to make some handmade gifts. Items I receive need more than the few minutes of love I can give it, so I’m happy to post these Handmade with Love posts that showcase great handmade cards or gifts I have received.
Not only did I get a beautiful handmade baby shower filled with lots of handmade decorations like the garland above, but many of the gift bags were filled with handmade creations as well. Today I want to share a lot of the pieces for my baby girl with my Spotofteadesigns.com readers.

Here are some of the handmade cards made from my friends, Liz, Allie and Carla! I recognize a few products used, such as Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page and Jolee’s Stickers!

This beautiful quilt was made by my friend Aimee’s mom, Debbie. I LOVE the colors and pattern of the front side of this extra large quilt, but check out the back side! The quilted design on the back includes alphabet blocks and other unique designs that aren’t those typical straight lines. Baby girl will love crawling all over the floor on this pretty mat!

I’ve already share this photo showing me opening this handknit baby cocoon but here’s another close up shot:
Allie knows this baby girl will be fully documented with TONS of photos so this cocoon is perfect for this typical newborn photos you’ve seen all over Pinterest. Now we’ll be ready for one of her first photo shoots! (Pattern via: Ravelry)
Update: See her newborn photo shoot with this cocoon here!

In addition to making the handmade decorations, and creating the knit cocoon, Allie also made me this knit zig zag blanket!! (pattern via: Ravelry)

Last, but not least, was another handmade quilt given to me by my friend, Carla (who is also a blog contributor to The Crafting Journals). The quilt is made by Wise Woman Quilts and features lots of great patterns and shapes to help baby learn and grow!
Aren’t I so lucky?
Stay turned for another “Handmade with Love: Baby Girls” post as I couldn’t even fit all the cuteness she received into one post!!
