As a crafter, I know how long it takes to make some handmade gifts. Items I receive need more than the few minutes of love I can give it, so I’m happy to post these Handmade with Love posts that showcase great handmade cards or gifts I have received.
A few years ago, while on a business trip, I received this glitter covered cup as a gift from an out of state coworker. It’s an outer shell all pimped out and ready for a big sonic cup to fit inside. She made three of them for three of us Jersey girls, which were delicately hand carried on our plane rides home! I love the thought and the glittered cup has been on display in it’s shining glory in my craft room ever since! In fact, this gift, was the inspiration behind this design:
Thanks for the inspiration, Misty!

I’m posting this gift in order to encourage a certain someone to buy another sewing machine and continue crafting. :) My dear ex-roomie (whom I affectionately refer to as my “wifey”) made this bag for me a few years ago. With all the pocket options and the light knit fabric, I use it all summer as my beach bag. I love Amy Butler’s patterns so this bag is perfect! Thanks again Snoozen!
