Yes, I’m still on this slim can koozies kick and there’s no stopping me! I just love the fact that I can easily personalize anything, even these neoprene drink koozies using my Cricut and some heat transfer vinyl.
To make these Halloween Slim Can Koozies I used:
- Cricut Maker
- Halloween SVG Cut File (available free!)
- Slim Can Koozies
- EasyPress
- Weeding Tool from the basic 5 piece tool set
- I also love using my Tweexy holder when weeding small items!
After weeding your design, press it onto your neoprene drink koozies using your Easypress set at 280 for 20 seconds.
I tried to play up the adult drinking sessions with the Halloween theme, coming up with “Mummy’s Time Out” featuring a mummy character for the O, “Truth Serum” featuring a creepy raven, and “Cheers Witches” featuring a witch hat and broomstick.
To play this up, and the darkness of the Halloween holiday, where most events happen at night, I broke out my glow-in-the-dark heat transfer vinyl, specifically for this Truth Serum design.
While challenging to photograph, I am happy to report this glow-in-the-dark heat transfer vinyl really works after being “charged” in light and then hidden in the dark.
Now me and my fellow witches are ready for some adult sipping this October!
