Grandparents are easy recipients of gifts as most love handmade items and things with photos or things that reference their family! See how I mixed these two thoughts together to create a unique wearable gift for my parents featuring all 5 of their grandkids. Check out this grandkids silhouette squad goals t-shirts!
My sister had her first kid before me but a few years later my parents were suddenly grandparents to 5 under the age of 5! We’re lucky to only live about 2 hours apart total and get together plenty over the year. The above photo was the latest group shot of them with all 5 grandkids, just before we tore open all those presents and I gifted them these squad goals shirts.
You remember I create this digital silhouette portrait gift for my mom for Mother’s Day featuring all 5 of her grandkids. It’s since become a popular listing on my Etsy shop and I’ve been happy to have created so many for other families!
This Christmas I used these same silhouette designs to create silhouette ornaments of my girls using iron on vinyl and my Cricut machine!
For Christmas I squeezed out one more gift idea using these same silhouettes and made squad goals t-shirts for my parents using more iron on Vinyl!
I, unfortunately, did not get a photo of them wearing the shirts yet so mom, make a note that we need to!
Now they can proudly wear these cheesey grandparent gifts at the next family get together!
PS I’m toying with the idea of offering custom silhouette artwork completed as SVG files for others who have a cricut machine but can’t create the initial custom artwork of their kids. LMK if you’re interested!
