Last week we attended a softball pool party and I decided to bring some cupcakes, but didn’t want them to be boring. This flaming softball design is something my oldest draws often (including on her dad’s father’s day card) so I thought it would make a great cupcake topper!
Flaming softball cupcake topper supplies:
- Cricut Maker
- Flaming Softball Cupcake Topper SVG
- Cardstock (3 orange, 1 yellow, 1 red)
- Cricut Tweezers from Basic Tool Set (they really help to place the red stitching in place on the ball!)
- Adhesive (I used ZIG 2way glue and dimensional foam adhesive)
- Toothpick
While I’m showing these with a yellow softball, you can easily switch out the yellow cardstock for white and this versatile SVG cut file easily becomes flaming baseball cupcake toppers!
The file includes two small notches on the largest flame to allow you to slide a toothpick in so no tape is needed. Adhere the other layers together using glue or dimensional foam adhesive to create a dimensional look. Add these softball flame cupcake toppers on top of homemade or store bought cupcakes to celebrate a playoff game, a birthday party, the coach’s birthday or the end of the season!
This SVG file is available to you with a LIMITED commercial license up to 50 items so you can make them for 50 cupcakes for the softball bake sale and raise money for your team!
Softball friends, don’t be surprised if you see these toppers more than once over the next few years! Please tag me if you make them as I’d love to see them in use!
