Last year, I shared my holiday card wreath that needed some extra help with the addition of mini glittered paper clips. It hung over my console table that included mostly red, white and silver holiday decorations. I’ve rearranged some decorations and decided to beef up the display with some additional holiday cones that seem oh so popular… and expensive! Instead, I went the DIY route to add more:

The first cone I made used these left over silver jingle bells and beads that I found in the giveaway bin at work. I’m not sure what they’re from or who made them but someone considered them trash so I took them as a treasure!
After a quick coat of silver paint, I took out my glue gun and go to work.
I did one layer at bottom to make sure it would sit flat, then jumped to the top winding around and adding silver pieces to the Styrofoam cone until complete.

Next I went for some smaller cone designs using these glittery garland items I found at the dollar store.

Basically, glue and wrap then repeat until complete!

Overall, I’m very happy with my inexpensive cone designs that made my display complete! Now it sits and awaits more Christmas cards to come in the mail and fill up my wreath!
