Both my girls just finished up their fall travel softball team seasons and are now in the off season, indoor only practice time to stay ready for the spring season. Since most of Hailey’s 17 team members have birthdays in November and December, and she’s been invited to a few of their parties, we decided to make them each a softball ornament for their tree.
DIY Acrylic Softball Ornament Supplies
- Acrylic Ornaments
- Adhesive Vinyl (yellow, blue, red)
- Cricut Maker
- Cricut Basic Tools (I used the scraper, scissors and weeding tool for this project)
- Softball SVG Cut File (Could easily be baseball with white vinyl instead of yellow!)
I found this 18 pack of acrylic discs at Michaels in the Christmas ornament section. It includes a protective covering on both sides so make sure to peel them before you apply the vinyl.
Apply the yellow circle first then red stitching then blue letters and numbers using transfer tape. This font was called “Soccer League” and I found it free on dafont.com.
The ornament pack comes with sheer white ribbons but we swapped them out for red ones. Say Merry Christmas with DIY softball ornaments!
