Disney Contact Paper Play - Spot of Tea Designs

Since Brielle had so much fun with her St. Patrick’s Day themed contact paper art, I decided to put together another little creative crafting session with an exciting theme: Disney! This time I wanted to involve her cousin, Brinley, since these two girls were going to experience a fun Disney event only two weeks after the crafting session. Yes, as you read this post, we are down in (hopefully) sunny Florida introducing Brielle to the magic of Disney!

Supplies:

Con-Tact Brand Self-Adhesive Shelf Liner
Painting Tape
Red, Yellow, Black and WhiteTissue Paper
Disney die cut shapes left over from the Disney Countdown Calendars (thanks again for cutting them, Liz!)

Once again, I cut a large sheet of the contact paper, peeled the adhesive backing to expose the sticky side and used a decorative painter’s tape I had on hand to attach it sticky side out on our wall. We then gave the girls an assortment of materials and just let them play.

This time Brielle knew exactly what to do, not wasting a second to hop up and add things to the sticky wall. Brinley was a bit more hesitant, since it was her first experience with this sticky stuff. Eventually she got the hang of it, adding the Mickey shapes in vacant spots.
