You know I’m a fan of quick and easy crafts for kids to wear. When my sister was expecting her second, my nephew Logan, I made her a set of monthly onesies for her monthly photo shoots. She let us borrow them when I was expecting Brielle where I got the below fun photos:
But…. at Brielle’s first birthday, I had to give the set BACK to Melanie as she was expecting another baby! Since it is a third baby (another boy – Jared) and he will already be wearing lots of hand me downs, I thought he needed some of his own specially crafted gifts from his Aunt Tara.
First, let me introduce this little guy. Here’s sweet little Jared on his birth day! Yes, just like when my niece Brinley was born, I made cupcakes to celebrate his arrival at the hospital! Isn’t he cute?
With the last name being “DAY” these kids have always been announced as “it’s a new day” to the world via Facebook. What better than a onesie with that same phrase? (do me a favor and ignore the backwards apostrophe, would ya?)
Here’s little Jared wearing his new duds at only 3 weeks old with big brothers Blake and Logan. With three swirmy little ones it’s hard to get a chance to check your exposure/lighting and get a good shot! sorry for this overexposed shot but it’s still a sweet moment captured between the brothers, isn’t it?
And since this is the third child, they can proudly boast that “Third Time’s a Charm” with this custom long sleeved onesie!
