As long as I can remember I’ve been into arts and crafts. As a kid I remember having a craft box that had all sorts of miscellaneous craft materials like Aileen’s glue, pom poms, pipe cleaners and cheap glitter. I remember getting kits like latch hooks and basic cross stitch for presents. I would tote my friendship bracelet plastic kit around with me all vacation and make knotted bracelets for family and friends. That was the extent of my jewelry making … until recently!
I’m just learning some basics of jewelry making, like making an eyepin loop. In fact, besides also using a headpin and opening and closing a jump ring, this is about all I know. So when I sat down the other day with my miscellanous jewelry supplies I own I pulled out some items of interest. Pearls, large rings, eyepins and some jumprings, all in silver of course.
After playing with some layout ideas and while watching some netflix instant movie from the 90s, I came up with a ring and pearl combo that was simple to make and I think is a classy design that can probably be worn with alot of outfits!
