When we moved to our house, I was very excited that it had three bedrooms. One master, one guest, and one smaller craft room! Up until this house I have always crafted on the floor of whatever dorm room or bedroom I lived in so having my own space was very exciting!
I bought most of my furniture and accessory pieces with gift cards or money earned from my Cafepress site. I already had the white cubes from Michael’s as my basic storage method so I added a white open bookshelf from Ikea to complete the storage of my albums and supplies.
The walls hold two floating bookshelves which hold glass jars of ribbons, buttons (yes I need more buttons, don’t I?) and floral accents.
The canvas is one I made myself, inspired by Catherine Matthews Scanlon seen here.
I love the desk space. It’s a simple system from Ikea where you purchase the tops separate from the leg pieces. I went with these open storage style legs which conveniently hold my glitter and punches within arms reach.
On top of the desk I bought one of those carousels which holds all my basic tools. It’s a lazy susan style which spins for easy access to all my basics.
My latest recent addition is the balloon style curtain as the finishing touch in the room. Now I’m ready to create!
