I was inspired once again by the Trigger Tuesday challenge hosted by the Papercrafts’ Moxiefab blog! This week’s challenge was red and rustic and featured this photo:

I loved the composition of the photo, red/cream/brown color palette and the distressed look of the furniture. As it was D’s birthday, I decided a these components worked perfectly for a masculine inspired design:
The I started by covering the background in regular stripes in those palettes, just like the pillows but I felt that they needed a little personality so I switched to the donut chain punch to add some interest. End with an old Over the Moon press brand of rustic wood grain stickers and a happy birthday stamp and the card was ready to gift away!
