While Thanksgiving might not be a big crafting holiday for some, our family loves to craft up custom place cards for each guest for the holiday at my mom’s house.
Thanksgiving wood signs supply list:
- Unfinished Wood Box Frames (comes as a set of 12!)
- Acrylic Paint (orange, brown, navy blue)
- Adhesive Vinyl (navy blue, yellow, white, black, brown, orange, red)
- Transfer Tape
- Cricut Basic Tools – I used 4 out of 5 of the tools for this project!
- Thanksgiving Wood Signs SVG Cut File (grab it for free!)
First paint your wood box frames. I went with my always trusty DecoArt acrylic paint! Tip: I have these little wood blocks that I always use when painting so my pieces don’t touch and get stuck to my scrap paper.
Next, cut and weed your vinyl designs. Use transfer tape and your scraper to apply the vinyl onto the wood box frames.
In the end you’ll have three adorable Thanksgiving Wood Signs to decorate your home for the November holiday!
It’s hard to tell which wood sign is my favorite!
But I’m definitely a big fan of the navy blue piece as a non traditional Thanksgiving holiday color.
