This month I had myself an early walker! We also realized her love of music. We had several babysitting opportunities this month since Derek and I had events to go to and her Great Gramma Ingrid came to visit from Florida. We celebrated Derek’s first Father’s Day at the beach where she first put her feet in the sand (and didn’t like it!)

This month involved lots of outdoor activities including water table play, pools and just playing in the yard! Brielle broke out her funny dance move of bouncing her butt to the music which still makes us laugh!
We started a mommy and me music class which was a lot of fun for both of us. She also began her love of collections putting rocks in a bucket, clothes in and out of the laundry basket and my Kindle wherever she can hide it.

The photo seen on this page has been all over Pinterest as it’s my title shot from my most popular most: First Time Mom Dos and Donts. I LOVE this picture of us as it documented a typical day of Brielle napping on my shoulder as I did chores one handed. I wanted to make sure to include it in her book so I surrounded it with some journaling about how lucky I feel to have stayed at home with her as long as I did.
