Back in January 2012, my friend, Jamie, said yes to taking a series of engagement pictures on an afternoon at the college where Derek and I met. I wanted to find a favorite and use it for the save the date card for our wedding. Jamie (who’s Pet photography Tip post you enjoy so much it’s on my Top 10 inbound pages on Pinterest, even in the off season) did an awesome job to capture a bunch of photos of us including one that we did use on our card!
A mere year and a half later, at 32 weeks pregnant, on a bright and sunny summer afternoon, Jamie came back with us to the same location to capture this next special time in our lives with a maternity shoot!
And yes, while we are having a girl, for some reason, we both like to wear blue a lot, so that ended up being the color we wore for this shoot as well!
For those mom-to-bes who are wondering, I’m wearing this Old Navy Maternity Dress in Royal Rowena.
