Back in June, Allie had given me this handmade knit cocoon at my colorful baby shower.
It was meant to snuggle my little baby girl for her DIY newborn photo shoot she knew that I would take. Then days after she was born, I received another package from Allie with a white pod, another knit creations for her shoot. I used both of these items for her first big photo series! And since I didn’t know if Miss Brielle would have a full head of hair or not, I made her a little DIY headband that I could wrap around her (hopefully not bald) head.
I based the flowers on the DIY Flower Headpiece tutorial I had made for our wedding, 11 months earlier:

And now, onto the cute overload:
Look at that innocent little face and that perfectly placed fist (which she did on her own!)
And here you can see a snuggly shot of her all wrapped in her cocoon. While these are two super cute shots, I’m also glad Allie sent the pod so I could get adorable shots like this:
or my favorite shot of that sweet little smile:
Thanks for letting me share some photos of my little peanut!

I am looking at the infant headband (and LOVE it) and was wondering about the “ribbon” around the head. It looks like it might be adjustable, is that correct?
Spot of Tea Designs says
Hi Dianne. Yes the headband is just a ribbon that has velcro attached to each parts in the back so that I could take it on and off, yes.
