A safer night's sleep for baby: wearing blankets (@HALOsleepsack) | spotofteadesigns.com

We’re big fans of HALO SleepSacks in our house!

HALO SleepSack from pottery barn kids | spotofteadesigns.com

Brielle received a SleepSack Swaddle at the hospital, which we used in the beginning weeks. When she outgrew that we switched to regular SleepSacks then eventually Early walker style ones. Now there’s a new safe way for baby to sleep with the SwaddleSure by HALO!

Day Family - spotofteadesigns.com contributors

First, let’s meet our little tester, Jared. He’s the little guy bundled up on the left. While SOTD Contributor Melanie, did use a swaddle method for all three of her boys, she had yet to try a true sleepsack swaddle and had always just used the standard receiving blanket. At 8 weeks old, Jared was ready to give the new SwaddleSure a test!

A safer night's sleep for baby: wearing blankets (@HALOsleepsack) | spotofteadesigns.com

First, she laid out the SwaddleSure, and put little Jared inside the pocket space created. As this is meant to replace loose blankets, he’s still, of course, wearing his regular clothes underneath. The new SwaddleSure has a generously-sized leg pouch to help baby’s hips stay in the correct, frog-like position which ensures healthy hip development and allows easy access to baby’s diaper for diaper changes. Once inside, she folded over each side and then folded up the bottom flap. Its innovative design with adjustable fasteners make it easy to swaddle correctly for a perfect fit every time.

Plus, its patented three-point fastening system resists “breakouts” for superior, more secure swaddling.  You can see here that little Jared was testing the fastening system with a bunch of leg stretches and kicks.

Sure enough, after a little time Jared took a snooze all safe and cozy on his back swaddled comfortably in his 100% cotton SwaddleSure.

The new SwaddleSure comes in pink, blue, cream and some adorable prints, in sizes made for newborns (6-12 lbs) and small infants (13-16 lbs). It can be purchased at Amazon.com or BuyBuyBaby.

As a reminder, HALO Innovations is dedicated to putting the health, safety and well-being of babies first. In fact, over 1,300 hospitals use HALO SleepSack wearable blankets through the HALO Safer Way to Sleep Initiative.  The HALO family of products, including HALO SleepSacks and SleepSack Swaddles, SwaddeSure and the best-selling HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper, help children from newborn to toddler age sleep better and safer.  To learn more about Halo, check them out here: Website | Facebook | Pinterest | Twitter | Instagram.

Our group of 2 adults and 5 kids were hosted by TreeTopQuestPhilly and enjoyed a sunny Saturday exploring obstacles, climbing and ziplining and we'd highly recommend this park!
.
Here some key details to know before you go:
- The staff is super knowledgable, friendly and patient with climbers of all abilities, but it is self paced where you are in control of your own equipment.
- You attend an equipment fitting, safety instruction and practice course before you climb
- Expect to spend the full 2.5 hours of your reservation and you likely won't need sunglasses in this shady spot
- Gloves are an optional purchase, but we didn't get them and no one got any blisters
- There are 4 levels of courses with Level 4 being for those 12+ only. It's HIGH but thrilling to those willing to check it out!
- Porta potties and lockers are available at the check in area and there are plenty of benches and picnic tables to sit at in the park. Spectators are free to watch from below.
.
PROMO CODE: Use code SPOTOFTEADESIGNS for 15% off your online ticket order to climb!
