I was recently tasked with styling a bunch of party themes for the brand I work with, one of which was Encanto. I immediately knew that THE candle itself needed to be part of the party decor and was happy to whip one up myself!
DIY Encanto Candle Supplies:
- DOWNLOAD FREE: Encanto Candle SVG cut file HERE! note: downloads as ZIP file that you must unzip! Includes both cupcake toppers and candle wrap
- Cricut Maker
- Cricut Gold Holographic Sparkle Vinyl
- Tall White Candle
- Cricut Transfer Tape
- Cricut basic tools
- Tweexy Vinyl Scrap Collector
First, download the SVG cut file and upload to Cricut Design Space. I found this white candle in the candle area of Shoprite. The white area was about 7″ tall and 7″ around in diameter so I was able to resize the file easily in CDS.
Cut the design out on gold adhesive vinyl.
Weed carefully as there are many small pieces of this Encanto Candle design. The Tweexy vinyl scrap collector makes for a great mini garbage can as you weed and is a favorite for complex designs like this.
Use Cricut transfer tape to transfer the design onto the candle and the scraper tool.
Check out the whole process in action from my instagram reel!
Once I had the candle design down, I figured the butterfly itself would make cute cupcake toppers for the Encanto party setup.
You can grab the free Encanto Butterly Cupcake Toppers SVG cut file here which includes both the butterfly design and offset shape. I did use the same adhesive vinyl as the candle and added it to cardstock. Tip: lessen the tack of your transfer tape by sticking it on your jeans a few things first. This helped to stop the vinyl from sticking to and tearing the cardstock. OR do what Craftaracreates suggested and use Press n’ Seal!

I can’t download the file
Spot of Tea Designs says
Hi Dinna. The file is a zip file so you’ll need to download it then unzip (or extract it) to get the svg file for your Cricut.
Tayisha says
Hi the only file that’s in the zip file is the butterfly alone. Not the design for the candle
Spot of Tea Designs says
Hi Tayisha! I had two different links to download the candle wrap and the butterfly cupcake toppers, but I just went ahead and combined them into one zip file so you can grab both. Please visit the blog post again to grab it. Thanks!

Nothing happens when I click the links. One has a super long code that’s as long as the page. It’s just words and numbers. Is that what I’m suitors copy?
Spot of Tea Designs says
Under the supply list I have a link to the SVG cut file that comes in a zip folder. If you click the link for that, it should automatically download to your compute. You’ll then need to unzip it to access the svg.
please let me know if you’re still having issues.
