Children’s Safety Then and Now and {GIVEAWAY}

Every generation thinks they know what’s best for their babies. But as time goes on, studies and experiences support the need to change standards when it comes to keeping our kids safe. I mean look at this, for example:

That’s me as a baby, SURROUNDED by plush blankets, fabric bumpers and stuffed animals in my crib. Thankfully nothing happened to me but this would not fly today. Today, it’s recommended for babies to sleep on their back in a “clean” crib which is free of any blankets, bumpers, stuffed animals or toys.

That’s exactly what we do in our house! You may remember this sweet photo of my then eight month old Brielle in her HALO Innovations SleepSack.
