It’s Valentine’s Day and time to be surrounded by lots of lovey puns. This blog is no different! Today I’m sharing another cute Valentine design my girls and I did using painted footprints and handprints! Download my bugs and kisses free printable to create your own!
Brielle is in daycare 3 days a week and Hailey is in 2. It makes those Mondays and Fridays when they’re both home a perfect time to squeeze in a craft project. I designed a quick Love Bugs and Kisses printable and tried out another handprint/footprint craft with them.
Supplies:
- Fingerpaint
- Foam Brush and paper plate
- Love Bugs and Kisses printable (Note: I designed 2 different sheets. Page 1 has 4 to a page and the other has 2 to a page, depending on their hand/foot size!)
- Crayons
First we set up our tripod and wireless remote shutter and started with Hailey’s adorable little feet. If you can’t tell she was NOT in the mood to craft this time around, mostly since it was creeping up on naptime. My bad!
But we did capture a few giggles and some prints before she was off and headed to bed.
Brielle meanwhile was all about this project! I painted Brielle’s hand with both purple and red fingerpaint and she sang me all sorts of silly songs while we crafted.
We did a few prints and set them aside to dry.
I grabbed some crayons and put on a little bug details. Simple! Simple! Simple! Yet so cute!
