About one month ago, we hosted a baby shower for my sister, the mommy to be! Above was the invitation I designed in Illustrator, printed and sent out to all the guests. We continued this onesie laundry line theme throughout other parts of the big day.
Here are a few additional images of the party:
I made this “welcome baby day” sign as a welcome area when everyone entered the house. It is, of course, an alteration on the invitation itself. Above you’ll also see the diaper cake I made. Learn how I made it here!
We hung these fun tissue paper pom poms from Martha Stewart Crafts on the fans, lighting and any vertical space we could!
My mom and I had bought her a few onesie outfits that we hung on this make shift laundry line as a decorative element that help the laundry line theme going!
I’m not sure if this is a thing, but my mom was determined to have someone make something out of the ribbons from the gifts, just like you do for a bridal shower. Her friend came up with this “bow tie” concept that they made her wear around her neck for some photos.
At the end of the party, guests walked out with one of these cute little favors. Both of the bags and stickers are also made by Martha Stewart Crafts but the goodies inside were Hersheys. :)
I also turned this Onesie Laundry Line design into a maternity shirt available on my Cafepress site!
