I took this thought and decided to DIY both her and her sister pig halloween costumes using the hoodie and onesie methods I loved last year for Halloween! First, sorry for these poorly lit step out photos. I was often crafting these parts at night! Costume Supplies: Onesie (baby) or Pink Hoodie (toddler) Pink Felt Black felt (for toddler costume only) Roll of Pink Tulle Crochet Headband (for Tutu, not to wear) Small silver hairclips (only for baby version) Needle and Thread Scissors (these are my favorite for cutting felt!) Straight Pins Water Erase Pen Scrap paper and Pen I made a tutu using a crochet headband and pink tulle for each costume. Handmade Gifts: Feature #23 – Baby Gifts
As a crafter, I know how long it takes to make some handmade gifts. Items I receive need more than the few minutes of love I can give it, so I’m happy to post these Handmade with Love posts that showcase great handmade cards or gifts I have received. SOTD Contributor and good friend Jamie just welcomed a new baby girl back in May. This new mom still kept up her thoughtful spirit when gifting me the most adorable little coordinating outfits for the girls! At our maternity photo shoot session she gave me the above card informing me of an upcoming package delivery. This is what ultimately showed up: Yes, the most adorable, sparkling coordinating big sister and little sister outfits! While this wasn't something Jamie handmade, it was something she thoughtful picked out through Etsy, a handmade website I always like to support! The Tshirt/Onesie came from Viva La Glitter and the headband/hair bows came from Ava Baby Clothing. For her birth announcements I had these two sport their matching outfits. Brielle wore the gold clips but I had converted my floral belt made when pregnant with Brielle into a pretty headband for Hailey. Almost No Sew Kids Tiger Halloween Costumes

Learn how to create the most adorable tiger Halloween Costumes base on a black hoodie or a black onesie for a pair of siblings! In an effort to continue making my kids' Halloween costumes as long as possible, I began brainstorming this year's concepts at the end of August. Like most toddlers, Brielle is really into animals and likes to say “I’m a tiger momma! ROAR” so this year’s choice of costume came pretty easily. Tiger it is... for both her and Hailey! I originally wanted to use orange clothes as the base but failed to find any and went with black instead. Hailey got a onesie as the base while Brielle got a hoodie. A yard of orange felt from a bolt at Walmart and two sheets of white and black felt was all I needed to transform these blank pieces into the tiger design.
