Fact: I am a picky eater.

Fact: I am not really a fan of vegetables. (Thus far I like artichoke, lettuce and raw carrots)

Fact: I have a 30 things to do before I’m 30 list (ahh only one year remaining!) and “Find a new vegetable I like” is number 23.

With those facts, you’d be surprised to learn that Thursday was our one year “Houseiversary” I decided to try a new dish and made this Broccoli with Rigatoni recipe for dinner!

You’ll be amused to find that this was the first time I’ve ever purchased garlic or broccoli at the super market and that I had to watch a video on “how to mince garlic” in order to do step 2. But I made it! I don’t think it was terrible and D actually ate his whole plate, including the broccoli!

I wouldn’t say I love broccoli, but I guess you could say that I tolerate it – with garlic, butter and cheese flavoring added! :)
